Ok so really bad nausea the past few days and with all of these pregnancy blogs and websites they all have remedies to try. I remembered reading one ladies remedy was pickle juice...
At work on Tuesday I had a severe wave of nausea and when I walked into the lunchroom I heard a choir of angels... ahhhh... one of our guys has brought a HUGE jar of pickles! I ate one and amazingly it helped with my nausea!
So yeah, pickles are my best friend right now!
PS. I am eating one as I type ;o)

We Are Having A Baby!
Where to start... My name is Roxanne and I just turned 39 on February 21 and my birthday present came a day late because on February 22 is when my husband and I found out that we are having a baby. WE ARE HAVING A BABY!
After many tears and hugging we looked at each other and said, Oh Crap!
A little back story, we started after many (MANY) years together and almost 10 years married, about 2 years ago we decided that we were ready for a family. When it didn't happen after the first few months and many Dr. visits I was diagnosed with PCOS (PolyCystic Ovary Syndrome) which makes my menstruation cycles and ovulation out of wack. Once it was controlled with medicine I did a few months of Clomid to help me ovulate without luck. A year and a half had passed and were referred to a fertility specialist in November 2011. After our initial consultation we decided to put it on hold for the holidays. My beloved father-in-law fell ill which took up most of our time and energy and we lost him on January 25, 2012. Then out of the blue on February 22 I knew I was a day late and thought what the heck I'll test... BOOM - POSITIVE.
It definately hit us like a beautiful, blessed ton of bricks. We still can't believe it, we are having a baby. I swear I am floating on cloud 9 with my husband and I don't think we will ever come down. (ok maybe after the first week of sleep deprivation but I'm not gonna think about that now)
I am 7 weeks and 6 days today, (03/21/12) and I am looking foward to sharing my pregnancy and thoughts on this blog...
Blessings,
Roxanne
